Antognolla Golf Selected to Host the PGA of Italy Championship 2019

Antognolla Golf is proud to announce they will be the host venue to the 2019 PGA of Italy Championship by +Energia.

2019 will see the 43rd edition of the PGA of Italy Championship, which this year is supported by title sponsor +Energia and is the premier annual event for PGA of Italy Golf Professionals. The inaugural Championship was played in 1977 and previous winners have included names such as Constantino Rocca and Francesco Molinari, the current reigning Open Champion. Returning to defend his crown at Antognolla will be Luca Cianchetti, who triumphed in 2018 at Castelgandolfo Golf Club.

 The PGA of Italy Championship by +Energia will be played over three rounds, between the 14th and 16th September. The first two rounds will be a Pro-Am format, with the final round being for the Professionals only, to battle it out to be crowned the PGA of Italy Champion 2019. Competitors will this year be competing for a prize fund of €40,000.
